The app covers the complete five-phase decontamination protocol used by civil defence and emergency response organisations worldwide.
Phase one covers immediate actions — how to evacuate upwind, identify a safe decontamination zone, and avoid spreading contamination to others.
Phase two covers outer clothing removal — the correct technique for removing and sealing contaminated garments to reduce your radiation dose by up to 80 percent before washing.
Phase three covers the full body wash protocol — how to flush skin and hair correctly, why scrubbing makes contamination worse, and how to decontaminate eyes, ears, and nasal passages safely.
Phase four covers internal contamination — what not to eat or drink, how and when to take Potassium Iodide correctly with weight-based dosing guidance, and how to shelter in place to reduce exposure by up to ten times.
Phase five covers post-decontamination monitoring — how to recognise the early signs of Acute Radiation Syndrome, what information to record for medical personnel, and when and how to seek emergency medical assistance.
Every step includes detailed instructions, critical warnings, and time limits where applicable. Steps marked CRITICAL are visually highlighted so you never miss the most urgent actions.
