Eight Count is a rhythmic metronome designed for dancers. Build a custom percussion pattern across an 8-count, assign instruments to each beat and subdivision, and loop it at your tempo.
Whether you're drilling choreography, freestyling, or training musicality — Eight Count gives you a simple, tactile way to create the exact rhythm you need and practice to it on repeat.
How it works:
Tap any cell in the 8-count grid to cycle through five instruments — kick, snare, hi-hat, clap, and snap. Set your tempo from slow to fast, hit play, and loop.
Made for:
Choreographers building counts for new pieces
Freestylers training to specific rhythmic patterns
Dance students working on timing and musicality
Musicians studying subdivisions and grooves
Anyone who thinks in 8-counts
Features:
8-count grid with four subdivisions per beat (1, e, &, a)
5 percussion sounds: kick, snare, hi-hat, clap, snap
Adjustable tempo with simple +/- controls
Instant looping playback
