You can help combat this with the serious game ELECTRIFYtoday from TechEducation – powered by Phoenix Contact. Demonstrate your skills as a designer of the future and build a world in which renewable energy is available in sufficient quantities and at affordable prices – the All Electric Society!
In various missions, you will learn how to drive forward the energy revolution. With every successful mission, you get more opportunities to improve the world with innovative technologies.
The missions include a variety of entertaining learning stations with questions such as:
- How are power generation and consumption interlinked?
- What is solar power? What are the different types of solar cells and photovoltaic panels?
- What is e-mobility and what are the differences between the various charging types?
- Etc.
Incidentally, you will learn which key technologies we need for a successful energy revolution and how they are to be used. So, everything you’ll need to know as future tech experts!
You can then put your newfound knowledge to the test in various mini games and quizzes in order to develop the small city step by step, to make it more sustainable and more carbon-neutral.
For teachers, ELECTRIFYtoday offers an opportunity for interactive teaching!
Our common major goal is to create a world in which energy from renewable resources is available in sufficient quantities and at affordable prices.
It is important to take young people on this journey, to inspire them and get them up to speed. ELECTRIFYtoday provides a fun learning experience for electrotechnical content. The game is suitable for use in STEM subject teaching and in electrical engineering and mechatronics training.
The entire scope of the energy revolution and sector coupling is explained, experienced, and quizzed in various learning stations across topics and disciplines. The presentation mode makes it possible to activate and work on specific topics for groups.
The objectives of ELECTRIFYtoday:
