We keep improving Create recipe. Not sure what to cook? Describe what you are in the mood for and you get a complete recipe back, with ingredients, steps and nutrition per serving. This update polishes the details.

Not sure what to cook? Now you can create a recipe just by describing what you are in the mood for. You get back a complete recipe: ingredients with amounts, step by step instructions and nutrition per serving. Pick how many servings you are cooking for and how much time you have. Want something changed? Just write it, for example that it should be vegetarian or take less time to cook. The recipe comes back changed, and if you change your mind the previous version is still there.

The get-started guide. A row at the top of the home screen shows what is left to get going and fills up as the steps are done. Expand it for the full list, hide it whenever you want, and it retires itself once the household is up and running. Your first receipt is free. A new household can scan and finish one receipt before starting the trial. Join requests show up right away. When someone scans your invite code you get a notification, and you approve them right where you showed the code.

The recipe book is rebuilt. Recipes now open in a read mode made for cooking: check off steps while you are at the stove, scale the quantities to the number of servings, and the screen no longer goes dark halfway through. Editing has a real text editor with headings, bold and lists, and a faster ingredient search. New: Feedback. Reaching us is easier now.
