A global kidney disease network to serve anyone interested in autoimmune kidney diseases The GlomCon Network is a global kidney disease community providing peer support for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to exchange experiences, share resources, discuss diagnostics and opportunities, and collaborate on a broad swath of initiatives, whether to raise awareness or initiate research projects. THIS NETWORK IS ONLY FOR EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT. PATIENTS AND CAREGIVERS WILL BE ABLE TO Find a directory of Kidney Disease Experts in their community. Exchange experience and resources with other patients and caregivers. Find specialized clinics and disease experts globally. Find available clinics and medical centers offering clinical trials. Help members of the global community locate study sites and doctors who can discuss trial opportunities close to the patient. Find updated information on various kidney diseases, such as: IgA Nephropathy FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) Nephrotic Syndrome Minimal Change Disease (AMKD) APOL1 Mediated Kidney Disease C3G (C3 Glomerulopathy) Lupus nephritis Alport syndrome and many others KIDNEY DISEASE EXPERTS WILL BE ABLE TO Volunteer and create patient-centered medical education resources. Answer general, not patient-specific, questions from the community that helps improve understanding of kidney diseases and the currently available treatment options. Connect with each other and share experience and expertise in caring for patients with immune-mediated and complex kidney diseases. Exchange ideas, innovate, and launch projects that can help improve the care of patients with kidney diseases. NEPHROLOGY TRAINEES (RESIDENTS AND FELLOWS) WILL BE ABLE TO Network with each other. Share resources among each other. Exchange work, general career, and other life experiences. Network with nephrologists and nephropathologists across the globe. Find mentors and participate in research or educational projects. Learn from experts caring for patients with immune-mediated and complex kidney diseases.
