Fixed several connection problems found in the first day of the last release: • If you tapped "Don't Allow" on the VPN permission prompt, the app no longer stays stuck on "Connecting" — it explains what happened and offers to try again. • Tapping Connect twice in quick succession no longer cancels your connection. • Connecting can no longer hang for minutes when the network is unresponsive. • When a free trial ends, the VPN disconnects cleanly and lets you know instead of silently stopping.

Fixed a problem where a purchase that the App Store could not confirm showed a confusing technical message instead of explaining what had happened. You are now told clearly that you have not been charged, and offered Restore Purchases in case a payment did go through. Also improved the diagnostics behind connecting and purchasing, so problems reaching a server or completing a purchase are easier for us to spot and fix.

Fixed an issue where signing in with Apple, or creating an account with your email address, could leave the account without its trial — so tapping Connect did nothing but open the plans screen. However you sign in, your trial now starts as it should, and returning users who were affected get theirs the next time they sign in. Also fixed: when the App Store refused a purchase before its payment sheet could appear, the app said nothing at all. It now explains what to check.

• The introductory price now shows correctly on the plan card — it previously displayed the full price even though checkout charged the lower one. • Opening the app without a plan now takes you straight to the plans screen, instead of leaving you on a Connect button that could not work. • If you have never subscribed, the app no longer asks you to “renew” a plan you never had. • Your current plan is shown only once it has been confirmed, rather than briefly showing an out-of-date one.
