This release introduces expense groups, which will allow companies effectively organise their expenses into categories, thereby gaining clearer understanding of their spending patterns, identifying areas of improvement and tracking progress towards financial goals. This new expense groups feature, will allow managers create their own “expense categories” and not have to rely exclusively on autogenerated MCC categories. All transaction types, including reimbursement requests, card transactions, local transfers and Sadad bill payments can now be classified using the expense groups feature.

This new version of app introduces an improvement to the existing approval workflow, allowing customers configure more complex approval processes with multiple, sequential approvers and enabling auto-approval where human intervention is not required. Team managers can now approve requests and authorize funds transfers for reimbursement requests. This new version the app provides an audit trail of approvals for all requests. We have also introduced the concept of team budgets and team wallets, to allow customers manage and track budgets at a team level and allocate funds for teams to spend according to their allocated budget.

We have made some key improvements to the onboarding and registration journey for our customers, to make the process more seamless and less time consuming. To provide options for companies, we have introduced two new cards. These cards will give our customers a better spending experience and can be used for POS purchases, ATM withdrawals and online purchases. Improved card designs across the application. Where we previously only provided virtual cards, managers will now be able to request a physical card to be printed and delivered to their respective address for cardholders to use in cases where virtual cards may not be accepted. Once the physical card has been delivered to the cardholder, with this new release, the cardholder will be able to login and activate their physical card within the app.
