Fast-acting, convenient and wholly accurate, Doctot HbA1c enables Health Care Professionals to keep check of a Diabetic patient's long term control of the disease.
Background: Since June 2011, the way HbA1c values are reported has switched from a percentage (DCCT units) to the IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry) reference measurement procedure of mmols/mol. To help make sense of the new units and to compare these with old units and vice versa, Doctot launched their own HbA1c Converter tool.
Presented in a wizard format so the medical practitioner can easily navigate through the interview components to record a patient's status, the tool automatically generates the assessment scale total and categorises the score, based upon the user's input.
This Free-To-Download App also has an "Information" section, which provides the user with relevant background details, in addition to a “Help” section that provides assistance regarding the use of the tool.
Further Doctot HbA1c features include:
- A Patient Results Management System (e.g. Save, Delete & Sort options)
- PIN Protection for security purposes
- Shake-to-Reset Scale functionality
- The Automatic Email Generation of each patient assessment result
