WHAT IS THE HEAD SHADOW APP? Head Shadow is an iPhone hearing aid app for people with single-sided deafness or mild hearing loss in both ears. When you play the app, the iPhone or AirPods microphone captures the nearby sounds. Then, the app’s audio equalizer amplifies the sounds and plays on wired headphones or AirPods. THE APP, WITH AIRPODS, FOR SINGLE-SIDED DEAFNESS Activate the left or right microphone on AirPods when playing the Head Shadow app to aid in single-sided deafness. Place the AirPod with the active microphone in your deaf ear and the other AirPod in your hearing ear. Play the app to capture sounds on the side of your deaf ear, amplify and cross to the AirPod in your hearing ear. THE APP, WITH ANY HEADPHONES, FOR MILD HEARING LOSS If you have mild hearing loss in both ears, play the Head Shadow app with any headphones you currently own. Just connect your headphones to your iPhone and play. The app then captures sounds near the bottom iPhone microphone, amplifies them, and plays them on your headphones. THE APP’S UNIQUE AUDIO AMPLIFIER We have developed a unique 10-band audio equalizer with Reverb options to amplify sounds captured by connected microphones. The Head Shadow app’s equalizer sliders can fine-tune the amplification of all ten frequencies of standard audiograms obtained from a hearing test. On the App’s Reverb screen, you can select various spaces for reverberations of the microphone sounds.  THE APP WITH A FREE TRIAL, NO ADS, AND NO SUBSCRIPTIONS The Head Shadow app is priced at a one-time purchase payment of $5 and has no ads and no subscriptions. You can try all features of the app for free, with no obligation to purchase for 30 days. The app works on iPhone 5 original of 2012, and all the later iPhones. It also works on iPads.
