What’s new:
Automatic “I’m fine today” updates: After a successful check‑in, the app now sends a gentle update to accepted emergency contacts when enabled in Settings (enabled by default). You can turn this off in Settings → Notifications.

Settings toggle persists to the backend, not just locally.
Settings controls are disabled while loading to prevent accidental changes.
