Before connecting over mobile data, the app now asks first so you don't use your data plan by accident, and tells you when a VPN is blocking the connection. When your phone and computer are on different networks, the app first tries a direct peer-to-peer connection before using the cloud relay. Cloud relay previews are sharper (update the desktop app to 4.0.21).

Fixed stutters and crashes during preview; long pages and documents with many artboards are smoother and use less memory. The app now reports the result of each connection (whether it worked, how long it took, network type) to help us improve connection reliability. It never includes IP addresses or your designs.

Fixed a connection issue that could cause the app to stall on networks with multiple IP addresses.

When a USB connection fails, the app now shows the specific cause and how to fix it (cable, driver, or the desktop service) instead of silently timing out.
