The Community Observation Network for Adaptation & Security (CONAS) app
is a collaboration between Aleut International Association and the Aleut
Community of St. Paul Island (ACSPI). CONAS is a research study of
adaptation and vulnerability during a time of rapid environmental,
social and economic change. CONAS is a continuation of the Bering Sea
Sub-Network Project gathering subsistence harvest data to document
changes in subsistence harvesting, the environment, and socioeconomic
factors.
