The GEM Link offers a user-friendly means to connect with and manage your GEMINI S.E.L gate motor access and keep it up to date with latest software releases. This seamless interaction occurs through the GEM Device linked to your GEMINI motor, providing comprehensive access control. All it takes is connecting your GEM Device to your home Wi-Fi using the GEM Link app - it's as straightforward as that. It also offers "offline" Bluetooth control for easy access.
Key Features:
1. Display of motor diagnostics and actions, including current gate status (open/close), MAINS ON/OFF and battery status(volts).
2. Remote gate control from anywhere in the world using your smartphone.
3. Grant gate access to other users with customizable permissions.
4. View current motor settings, such as auto-close timing, motor direction, pedestrian opening, and more.
5. Firmware update capability for vour GEMINI motor.
6. Access device event logs, including information on the last triggered event, remote or app usage with usernames
7. Status information on Infrared Beam (IRB) available.
8. Light control and options for full gate opening or pedestrian
access.

See where the connection breaks
The Wi-Fi page now shows each step from your Gemlink device to our servers: the Wi-Fi network, the internet and the Gem servers. If your device is offline, it tells you which link is down (wrong password, network out of range, no internet) and what to do about it. If someone with the app is near the device, everyone with access can see why it’s offline.
Easier Wi-Fi setup
After joining a network, the app shows each step ticking off: connected to your network, internet, then online. If a step fails, it says which one and what to check. Network names with special characters now display correctly.
Faster online/offline status
When you’re near your Gemlink device, the app notices within seconds when it goes offline or comes back online.
Remotes
- Program gate and pedestrian remotes over Wi-Fi again, without Bluetooth.
- Buttons are numbered as on the remote itself, and a free button can be given another function.
- Simpler backup and restore, with clear progress at each step.
- Update your receiver’s software from the app. Your remotes are backed up first.
More reliable
- Bluetooth starts up more reliably, and a newly shared device works straight away.
- Fixed crashes on startup and on refresh.
- Device log exports cover the whole period you choose, up to 5,000 lines.
- Popups stay clear of your phone’s navigation bar.
