Told 3.0.3 helps you stay in the loop. • Turn on notifications to know when someone shares with you. • Tapping a notification now takes you straight to the Entry, comment, or Bit it's about. • Privacy & Backup: your privacy and recovery settings now live on one page. It shows how your memories are protected and what to do if you lose your phone. • Faster syncing. A post that can't send no longer holds up the posts after it, and you can retry or discard it. • A new launch animation. • The tab bar comes back as soon as you scroll up. • A new "What's new" card on Home tells you what changed in each update. • Fixed the audience notice briefly showing "Last known audience."

Talk without being on camera. Bits now have an Audio option: switch the recorder to Audio and just talk. Everyone sees your photo and name with a glow that moves with your voice. Also new: • Watch Bits at 1×, 1.5×, or 2× speed. • See how far everyone has watched your Bits, and stay on the camera to record the next one right away. • An Entry's page now shows every Space it's shared in. • Up to six prompts from your packs now appear in a carousel on Home. • A smoother welcome for new accounts. • The comment box stays above the keyboard. • Live Bits stream more reliably, and your changes stay safe on your phone if Told closes before they sync.

Protect your memories with a passkey You can now back up the key that keeps your journal private with a passkey saved in Apple Passwords. If you move to a new iPhone, unlock your memories with Face ID instead of typing your recovery code. Set it up from the "Protect your memories" card in your feed, or in Settings → Recovery & Backup. Your recovery code still works too. Also in this update • Delete a Bit you've recorded. It's removed from the Space for everyone. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Told 3.0 is our biggest update yet. Three new ways to share what matters with the people who matter. BITS Short videos for your Space. Record a Bit from either camera, and everyone in the Space sees it right away. A glowing ring on a Space shows there's something new to watch, so you can catch up straight from the top of your feed. Bits are temporary, so share the small stuff without worrying about the record. PROMPT PACKS Not sure what to write? Browse Prompt Packs from the Search tab and add one to a Space. Start with our fall collection: Cozy Season Bucketlist, Spooky Halloween Bucketlist, and The Harvest Table. Answer a prompt and it becomes an Entry titled by the question, so everyone can see how each person answered. Your answers also live on a new Prompts page on your Profile, and your feed will nudge you when a pack has prompts waiting. SPACES, REBUILT Spaces are now the heart of Told. Invite people with a link or directly, and choose their role when you do. Manage members, transfer ownership, and move a Journal between Spaces with all its Entries. Swipe between a Space's Activity and Journals, and see at a glance which Space and Journals an Entry belongs to.
