On-device help for adding items and asking about your inventory — always reviewed before anything is saved. Sage assistant (iOS 26 and later): - Capture assistant: describe an item in a sentence or paste receipt lines, review the suggestion, then confirm in the item form. - Ask your inventory: questions like “What's expiring this week?” turn into filters you can open and verify; use-it-up ideas mention only items you already have and are labelled as suggestions, not safety advice. Smarter restock: - Shopping: when you have not set a restock target, Finish can suggest how much to buy from your usage history. - Replenishment routines: turning on a routine can pick a cadence from how fast items in that space or container are used; reminders can mention when something may run low soon.

Shopping that follows you to the store, and a backup that keeps everything. SHOPPING • Several stores: give each store its own sections and order. Switch stores from the Shopping menu before you start a trip. Your existing setup becomes your first store, with nothing lost. • Trip on your lock screen: while you shop, see how many items you have picked up on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. It shows counts only unless you turn on Settings › Show item names on widgets. • Your own aisle order: after a trip, KeepItNoted can offer the order you picked things up in as that store's order. • Undo a trip: after Finish, tap Undo to take back exactly what that trip added. • Share the list: send what's left to buy as text from the Shopping menu. BACKUP AND EXPORT • Backups and exports now include your item templates, saved filters, stores and store sections, one-off shopping items, and your activity history. • Restoring adds what is missing and never overwrites what is already on the device. Backups from earlier versions still restore. • A backup made by a newer version is refused with a clear message instead of importing part of it. USAGE INSIGHTS • Today › Usage insights shows how many items you used up and how many you threw out each month, and about how fast you go through things, such as "About 2 L a week". Nothing is shown until there is enough history to be meaningful.

Your inventory, without opening the app. Widgets and lock screen - Needs attention: items that have expired or expire this week, on the Home Screen (small and medium) and the lock screen. - Shopping: what to buy, and your progress while you shop. - Set a widget to one space, such as the kitchen, or leave it on everything. - Counts stay right across midnight without opening the app. - Widgets show counts only. Turn on Settings › Show item names on widgets to see names. Shortcuts, Siri, and Control Centre - "Add an item in KeepItNoted", "Scan an item", "Open my shopping list", "What's expiring in KeepItNoted", and "Start a stocktake of the kitchen" work without any setup. - "Add to my shopping list" opens the list with your item ready to confirm. Nothing is saved until you confirm it. - On iOS 18, add Add item, Scan item, or Shopping list controls to Control Centre or the lock screen. Spotlight - Search your items from the Home Screen. Off by default; turn it on in Settings › Show items in Spotlight. Archived and deleted items are removed. Charts - Today shows what expires over the next six weeks. Tap a bar to see exactly those items. - Inventory shows stock by space. Tap "low stock" or "in stock" to see those items. A clearer app - Items are counted once, whatever their quantity, on every screen. - Item screen: see where an item is, change its quantity with undo, and Duplicate, Archive, or Add to shopping list from the More menu. - One clear Save on the item form, with the location shown as "Container · Space". - Stocktake: "Matches" confirms a row in one tap, uncounted items can't be applied by mistake, and the buttons are easier to reach. - Shopping: options live in one menu, and progress shows only during a trip. - Consistent titles, labelled buttons, and sentence case across the app. - Better Italian: more of the app is translated, including units, notifications, and widgets. - Text stays readable at the largest sizes on the item and stocktake screens.

Stay on top of the things you regularly need to restock. Replenishment routines: - Set a weekly, every-two-weeks, or every-four-weeks reminder for a space or container. - Routines check the restockable items you already track in that location. - Keep routines available in the app even if you don't allow notifications. iOS reminders are scheduled only when notification permission is enabled. - Archived items are excluded from reminders. Item details: - See an item's expiry, description, and last-updated date together. - Edit is easier to reach, while Delete is available from the secondary actions menu.
