With gesture controls, haptic feedback, and smooth animations, every interaction feels natural and responsive. Whether you're a beginner or experienced player, you'll appreciate how easy it is to navigate, track your progress, and focus on what matters: mastering strategy. WHY SPACED REPETITION MATTERS Traditional blackjack trainers show you random hands, wasting time on scenarios you already know. By The Book uses the Spaced Repetition algorithm to intelligently track your performance on every unique hand situation. The app adapts to your learning curve, automatically prioritizing hands you struggle with while spacing out reviews of mastered scenarios for maximum retention. HOW IT WORKS • Adaptive Learning: Each hand situation (player total + dealer upcard) is tracked individually. The algorithm learns which hands are difficult for you and increases their review frequency. • Smart Scheduling: Hands you answer correctly get longer intervals between reviews. Struggling with a hand? You'll see it more often until it's mastered. • Performance-Based Difficulty: The system adjusts difficulty ratings based on your success rate over time, ensuring you're always challenged at the right level. KEY FEATURES - Interactive Training: Practice real blackjack decisions with immediate feedback on every play - Three Hand Categories: Master pairs, soft totals, and hard totals separately or together - Detailed Statistics: Track your accuracy, current streak, best streak, and progress per category - Mastery Tracking: See how many hands you've mastered in each category with visual progress bars - Top Mistakes: Review your most frequently missed hands to identify patterns - Due Reviews: Know exactly which hands need practice based on optimal retention timing - Basic Strategy Chart: Quick reference guide for optimal play decisions - Customizable Rules: Toggle dealer hits on soft 17 to match your casino's rules - Mobile-Optimized: Gesture controls, haptic feedback, and intuitive touch interactions - First-Time Tutorial: Interactive walkthrough to get you started quickly THE SCIENCE BEHIND IT Spaced repetition is a learning technique that increases intervals of time between reviews of previously learned material. Research shows this method dramatically improves long-term retention compared to massed practice. LEARN SMARTER, NOT HARDER Stop wasting time reviewing hands you already know. By The Book focuses your practice where it matters most, helping you achieve mastery faster. Whether you're preparing for a casino trip or just want to improve your game, this app will help you memorize basic strategy more efficiently than any other trainer. Perfect for: • Casino players preparing for their next trip • Blackjack enthusiasts wanting to improve their game • Anyone learning basic strategy for the first time • Players who want to track their progress scientifically Download By The Book today and experience the difference that science-backed learning makes.
