WhereisX is the app that never forgets where you put things.
One spoken sentence is the entire effort. Say "I'm putting the spare drill bits in the garage cabinet" as you're doing it, then ask "where are the drill bits?" six months later - from your phone or straight from your wrist. No forms, no tags, no setup.
WHAT IT'S FOR
WhereisX is for the things that sit still for months and quietly vanish from memory: the good scissors, the drill bits, the spare HDMI cable, the passport, the holiday decorations, the specific shade of foundation you bought and put somewhere sensible.
That's the whole problem. You put it somewhere sensible. Six months later, "somewhere sensible" is gone.

WHY YOU'LL ACTUALLY KEEP USING IT
You may have tried getting organized before. You stopped - not because you stopped caring, but because logging and organizing things was a chore. Type the name. Pick a category. Choose a room. Attach a photo. Nobody sustains that.
WhereisX asks for one sentence, spoken at the moment you're already putting the thing away. That's the whole interaction. And because these are things that don't move, what you said stays true - you log it once and it's right a year later.
• Nothing to attach. Bluetooth trackers are for things that move and get lost in the moment. This is the opposite problem: things that sit still and get forgotten over time. You're never going to stick a tracker on your tax documents, your good chisel, or a box of Christmas lights - and you don't need to.
• Nothing to fill in. No forms, no categories, no barcodes to scan. Say it the way you'd say it to a person.
• Nothing to remember. "Garage cabinet" and "the cabinet in the garage" are the same place - WhereisX groups them automatically, so you never have to keep your own naming consistent.
• Hands free in both directions. It listens, and it answers out loud.
ON YOUR WRIST
The Apple Watch app is the whole loop, not a companion viewer. Raise your wrist, say where something went, and you're done - no phone, no unlocking, no app to open. Ask it later and it tells you out loud, right there.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION
Even faster - snap a photo of a drawer, or a mess of things. The AI recognizes what's in the picture so you don't have to type out a description. Photo capture is included in WhereisX Pro.
HOUSEHOLD SHARING
Invite the people you live with so everyone knows where shared things ended up. Somebody put the good extension cord "somewhere in the basement" two years ago? Ask WhereisX - whoever logged it, everyone can find it. Household sharing is included in WhereisX Pro.
