Juliet is a native music player for your personal server. Connect to your Subsonic or OpenSubsonic-compatible server (Navidrome, Airsonic, Gonic, and more) to stream your entire music library on your iPhone and iPad. Your music, your server, no subscription. IMPORTANT CONTENT & PRIVACY COMPLIANCE Juliet is strictly a private media client interface. The app does not host, provide, or license any media content, nor does it include features for sharing files, data, or links between users. Users are entirely responsible for providing their own private server infrastructure and content. The developer does not condone or support unauthorized file sharing. HOME AND AWAY Juliet smartly manages two addresses per server: a local address for when you are on your home network, and a remote address for everywhere else. The app automatically probes your local network first and falls back instantly to the remote connection, ensuring seamless playback whether you are on the couch or on the road. BUILT FOR LISTENING • Gapless playback, ideal for album transitions and live sets • System integration, full support for Lock Screen controls, Control Center, and CarPlay • Synced lyrics(1) that follow along, with a lock screen Live Activity • Browse by artist, album, and genre, all by tags... not folders (1) Juliet tries to retrieve lyrics from your personal server, or any LRCLIB-like API if configured. OFFLINE, DONE RIGHT Download your favorite albums, playlists, and tracks for offline listening. Downloads continue in the background even when the app is suspended, preserving your original files exactly as they are without re-transcoding. PLAYLISTS AND DISCOVERY • Your server playlists, plus automated collections like Favorites, Top Rated, and Most Played • Genre mixes and an Artist Mix that shuffles deep cuts across an artist's catalog • Powerful search across your whole library ON YOUR WRIST A watchOS companion comes along for playback control on the go. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your security matters. All server credentials are encrypted and stored safely inside the iOS Keychain. Juliet communicates exclusively with the server you specify.
