Screen Distance helps you and your children keep a healthy distance from the screen. Using the front TrueDepth camera, it measures how far your face is from your device in real time and gently warns you whenever you lean in too close.
Holding a phone too close is a major cause of eye strain and is linked to worsening short-sightedness (myopia), especially in children. Screen Distance gives you a simple, always-on reminder to back off.
REAL-TIME DISTANCE
• See exactly how many centimeters your face is from the screen
• A clear ring turns green at a healthy distance and red when you are too close
• Set your own alert threshold from 20 to 50 cm

• A soft vibration nudges you when you lean in too close
