Navidrome and Subsonic servers got a big update: • Save tracks, albums or whole artists from your server into your library. Long-press, or use the download button on an album. Tracks you already have are skipped. • Album artwork now shows while browsing, in Now Playing and on the lock screen. • The spectrum analyzer now works on server tracks, and it's their default view. • Server tracks pick up where you left off after reopening the app. If the server can't be reached, the app tells you. • Artists are sorted like your local library, with the A-Z scroll bar. • Long-press a server to edit it. Test Connection now says why a connection failed, with tips on https and Tailscale. • Going back to a server's artist list keeps your place. • Now Playing shows which server a track is playing from. Also: • Re-scanning your music folder no longer resets play counts, ratings, bookmarks or shuffle exclusions. • Find Duplicates can no longer delete a file the copy you kept still needs. • Fixed an empty library after starting a re-scan during an import. • Wording cleanups in the walkthrough, About and Settings.

- Fixed: after a forced restart of the phone, the library could come up empty. Your music files were never touched, but the app lost track of them. It now waits for the phone to unlock instead, and rebuilds from your files if it ever has to. - Fixed: songs could start with a loud first beat, cut out, then restart at the right volume. Most noticeable on shuffle with the phone locked. - Fixed: pausing from the lock screen after the phone had been asleep showed 0:00. - Fixed: a long track could restart from the beginning after a long pause. - New: drag through the waveform and the time follows your finger. - Fixed: artists whose names differ only in capital letters are one artist again. - Fixed: Find Duplicates no longer mistakes two different tracks with the same name on one album for copies, and its remove button no longer hides behind the mini player. - Fixed: a re-scan could add some of your files to the library twice. - Re-scan Music Directory and Rebuild Mosaics now show that they're working. - About now tells you whether you're on the App Store, TestFlight or a test build.

Fixes a serious bug: editing the tags on an M4A file could leave that file unplayable. If you edited tags in a previous version and a track stopped playing, re-import it — this update prevents the damage but cannot repair a file already affected. New: tilt the phone sideways on any screen and the spectrum analyser fills the display, with the scrub bar and playback controls beneath it. Tilt back to return to exactly where you were. New: the button at the bottom right of Now Playing swaps the lower half of the page for the analyser instead of opening a separate screen, and remembers your choice. New: pick how many bands the analyser uses — 16, 24, 32, 48 or 64 — in Settings. Also fixed: - The analyser on Now Playing went flat after tilting to full screen and back - Artwork mosaics on short playlists showed black gaps; they now fill with your most recent additions - Cover art in the Recently Added mosaic was larger than everywhere else - Counts and the shuffle banner are left-aligned on library pages - The Network page's empty state is centred

Gapless playback is gapless again. Continuous albums and live recordings no longer have a split second of silence between tracks. The app no longer plays quieter than everything else on your phone, and a volume change now takes effect immediately instead of at the next track. New: Auto volume normalization. Album gain when you play an album in order, track gain for playlists and shuffle. Set it in Settings. Also fixed: - Playlists show the speaker icon next to the track that's playing - Resuming no longer restarts the track from the beginning - Artwork mosaics show a spread of your library instead of repeating the same few covers - Album, artist and genre grids show three across instead of two, so there's a lot less scrolling - Shuffle's back button no longer skips several tracks after music has played unattended - Counts and the shuffle banner line up on the left of library pages - The Network page's empty state is centered
