ISSMA.AI is an intelligent platform dedicated to supporting marginalized communities by identifying and promoting establishments where they are treated with dignity and respect. Our mission is to counter instances of racism, xenophobia, ageism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, and antisemitism. We also strive to spotlight and endorse businesses that uphold these values.
Safety Wheel: Our platform features a unique safety wheel that encourages users to consider the multifaceted ways in which their intersectional identities influence their safety and everyday experiences. This tool helps us gain a deeper understanding of the intersecting factors that shape our worldview, enabling us to provide more precise recommendations and content.
The Safety Wheel includes considerations for:

6. Neurodiversity
7. Language

By completing the Safety Wheel and sharing reviews, users can tailor their experience and assist others with similar intersectional identities in finding safe spaces. Our platform also allows allies to offer feedback on how they observed the treatment of others or the discussion surrounding certain communities.
ISSMA Map: ISSMA.AI utilizes the data from the Safety Wheel to empower users to contribute to and access safety ratings within their communities via a personalized map. Key features of the map include:
1. User Ratings: Easily contribute your ratings and insights regarding the safety of various locations, helping create a comprehensive safety profile.
2. View Others' Ratings: Explore safety ratings submitted by fellow users to make informed decisions about the places you visit.
3. Availability: Currently available in the continental United States, with plans to expand coverage to other countries in the near future.
4. Integration with Google Maps: Seamlessly integrated with Google Maps, allowing you to search for places, navigate the map, and add ratings using the "Add ISSMA Rating" button.
5. User-Friendly Rating Process: We provide simple questions for users to answer when adding ratings, with a commitment to refining and enhancing these questions based on feedback.
