AI VOCAL REMOVAL Separate the singer from the band on any song in your library. Karaoke runs a neural separation model on your Mac's GPU, caches the result, and plays the karaoke track in place of the original — video and all, if the file has video. It is a different thing from the centre-channel removal that came before. That one attenuates whatever sits in the middle of the stereo image, which takes the drums and bass with it and leaves reverb-heavy vocals largely intact. This removes the voice and leaves the band alone. Choose "Vocals Only" to hear the isolated voice instead, for learning a melody. Separation takes about half a minute per song and runs entirely offline once the model has downloaded. Requires Apple Silicon. LYRICS FROM THE VOICE Lyric generation now transcribes the separated voice rather than the full mix, which is why it can handle songs that defeated it before. It runs on your Mac with no account and no per-song cost. Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean are properly supported for the first time — macOS has no on-device dictation model for those languages, so the old approach could never finish a whole song. Chinese can be written in traditional or simplified characters. German has been added. Lines are now broken where a singer would breathe, rather than wherever the transcriber paused. CHANNEL SELECTION Traditional karaoke discs often carry the guide vocal on one channel and the backing on the other. A Left / Stereo / Right switch now removes it exactly, instantly, with no processing. ALSO • Remove Lyrics and Remove Separated Audio, to undo either and reclaim the disk • Lyrics that no longer fit shrink to stay readable instead of being cut off • Tooltips on the playback controls that had none • Generated lyrics and edits are now kept with the app, so deleting a song reclaims them • Removing a song clears it from playlists; previously a deleted song could make the wrong track disappear from a playlist • AI lyric generation failed for every song imported from a ZIP archive. Fixed.

Sing along — and keep the take. NEW: SING RECORDING Record your voice while a song plays, then listen back to your performance with the music behind you. Your own files are never modified: the recording is stored separately and combined with the song only when you play it back. • Automatic timing. Your voice lines up with the music on its own — there is nothing to calibrate. • Nudge it anyway. If you want it perfect, shift a take by as little as 5 milliseconds. • Auto-record. Turn it on and every song is recorded automatically, one take each, all night. • Save a copy. Export any take as an audio file, with optional reverb — small room through to cathedral — to give your voice some space. • Nothing else changes. Video, MP3+CDG discs, lyric overlays, timing controls and full screen all work exactly as before while you record. • Full screen shows a recording indicator, so you always know the microphone is live. For the best results, hold your microphone close to your mouth, or wear headphones. The app explains this before your first recording. FIXED • The lyric editor could not be typed into at all — the text fields could not be selected. It now works. • Saving edited lyrics did nothing at all, without reporting an error. Edits are now saved properly. • Generating lyrics failed on songs imported from ZIP archives, reporting that the media file could not be accessed. It now works. • If your library cannot be opened, the app now explains why instead of quitting unexpectedly. Your songs are never deleted. Recordings are stored on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

KARAOKE DISCS NOW PLAY (MP3+G / CDG) The classic karaoke disc format is finally supported. Import a CDG file alongside its MP3 and the original disc graphics appear exactly as they should, in their own colours and with the highlight sweeping across each line as it is sung. ZIP IMPORT Most karaoke downloads arrive as a ZIP holding an MP3 and a CDG together. Drop one straight into your library and it is unpacked and paired for you. Folders full of ZIPs work too. MORE FILE FORMATS Now opens M4V, MPG and MPEG video, plus WAV, FLAC, AAC, AIFF, CAF and Opus audio. Useful if your collection includes WAV+G or FLAC+G karaoke tracks alongside the usual MP3+G. EASIER DRAG AND DROP You can now drag CDG and ZIP files directly onto your library. Dragging an MP3 and its matching CDG together brings them in as a single song. CLEARER IMPORT REPORTS The import report now tells you when a song was already in your library, and when a CDG turned up without its matching audio, instead of looking like nothing happened. TIDIER STORAGE Removing a song now also clears out the files the app unpacked or generated for it, so deleting a song actually frees the space.
