Label Mate reads the text across multiple camera frames, builds consensus for accuracy, and matches against a catalog of millions of vinyl releases. When it finds a match, playback starts automatically. Also works with barcodes and most artwork covers (with or WITHOUT text). 1. Auto-add to discogs collection. New setting available. If you want to add to your discogs collection, but not picky on exact version, you can enable this setting. As you scan, it will pick some version, respecting the combination of artist, release title, and format (LP, 12", etc) and add to your collection automatically. Good if you just care about cataloging "I own the LP", and don't want to wade through hundreds of specific pressings runout etchings or matrix codes. 2. Preview-first scanning. One goal of the app is to reduce as much as possible the time from scan to playback. Manual scans now drop into a results list with a 30s auto-preview instead of jumping straight into full tracklist playback. Tap a row to enter the full player. 3. In-viewport framing guides + smarter mode detection. Circle (label) / square (cover) / barcode / QR code overlays that double as a tappable label ↔ cover override. Label-vs-cover classifier fused with LiDAR distance so the right mode is picked automatically (works on non-LiDAR phones too). 4. Scan history now has a CSV export. Export your scan history, import into any spreadsheet software. Swipe-to-remove from both the results list and history.
