LegacyMGMT is a realism-first life and dynasty simulator.
Finish school, build a career, invest, buy real estate, fall in love, and raise children. Then hand it all to an heir. When you die you do not start over, because the next generation takes the helm and the dynasty continues. How long can your family's name, and its fortune, last?
• LIVE A FULL LIFE. Move through school, a career with real ladders, friendships, romance, marriage, and a family of your own.
• BUILD WEALTH. Grow your money through salaries, savings, the stock market, retirement accounts, and a property empire.
• A LIVING WORLD. Contend with inflation, shifting tax policy, a market that booms and busts, and a city government that moves on its own.
• RISE IN TOWN. Build a reputation, give to local causes, endow a family foundation, and run for city council or mayor.
• REAL CONSEQUENCES. The people you love drift away if you neglect them, hard living eventually catches up with you, and every choice you make compounds over a lifetime.
• LEAVE A LEGACY. Wills, trusts, estate planning, and inheritance carry your empire across generations, and your family's reputation compounds so that a strong name gives every heir a head start.
No two lives are the same. You might be born poor and claw your way up, or born wealthy and try not to squander it, but every choice is yours.
Más The early years are no longer a warm-up.
A DEEPER EARLY GAME
Part-time jobs now carry real trade-offs. The hours you put in pull against your grades and your standing with your friends, so grinding has a cost and so does coasting.
You can pitch in at home. Choose how much of your paycheck goes to your family. A working household leans on it and grows closer to you for it, while a wealthy one would rather set it aside for you in a trust. Keeping every dollar has its own price.
Money is something you manage now, from your very first job, instead of a number that only ever climbs.
FIXES AND POLISH
The family firm behaves like a real job, with real raises.
Scholarships now tell you plainly why you did or did not earn one.
You can move in and out of your properties from the property screen.
Newborns, family milestones, and a long list of smaller issues from player reports are all cleaned up.

Life happens to you now, not just because of you. Your child starts running wild, your partner strays, a rival at work comes for your job, an affair of your own gets complicated. Each one plays out over months, remembers how you handled it, and sends the fallout into the rest of your life.
Being born wealthy now comes with strings. The money and the name arrive with controlling parents and less freedom, so you decide: keep the family trust by toeing the line, or break away for your own paycheck and give it up.
We also tightened the realism throughout, so the choices you can make line up with the life you're actually living.
1.11.0 6 oct
Version 1.10.0 is about time, and the body, and the things that don't ask permission.
Getting older means something now. Your eyesight softens with the years, and later your memory starts to slip. Both go faster if it runs in your blood, and both wear on your work and the people who count on you. Glasses, surgery, a specialist: you can hold your quality of life up, but it costs, and it is money worth spending.
Illness can run in the family. Everyone carries a genetic hand they were dealt at birth and pass down to their children, and it loads the dice on what finds them later in life. A serious diagnosis, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, can settle in for good. You manage it, which costs you every month but holds it steady, or you put it off, cheaper now and harder later. What you carried is often what takes you in the end, and it echoes down the line.
Hard luck arrives uninvited too. A fire or a flood at the place you live, a wreck on the road, a lawsuit from someone with a claim. Insurance softens the ones you carry it on. None of them care how careful you have been.
A few things read truer now. Your net worth no longer counts a family trust you can't touch yet: it sits on its own line and joins your worth the day it vests, the way an inheritance really does. Bankruptcy is a decision you make, not one the bank makes for you, and you can't lean on it every year. File once and the debt it clears comes with years of frozen credit, and a second filing bites harder.
Plus the fixes you asked for. A student running in the red is pointed toward work instead of quietly sinking. Growing your family, by birth or by adoption, now lives right on the family page instead of buried in a menu. Marrying someone you live apart from asks whether you want to make it one home. And a handful of small wording bugs are gone.
Thank you for playing, and for the notes. A good number of these came straight from you.
1.10.0 30 sep
Version 1.9.0 is about the family, and about deciding when a life is done rather than playing out every year to the end.
You can take the whole family out at once now, not one person at a time. A meal together, a day out, or a few days away, priced to the size of your household, and it reaches the people a one-on-one visit tends to skip, your grandchildren among them. Everyone comes home a little closer, and someone always has a better time than the rest.
You no longer have to wait out the years. When you're ready, you can hand the dynasty to a grown heir while you're still alive and carry on as an elder they can visit, or bring the current life to a close on your own terms and take over as your heir. Passing it all down early is taxed the same as it would be at the end, so it is a choice of timing, not a loophole.
When you grow your family through adoption, you choose who you welcome home, a son, a daughter, or whoever needs one, instead of leaving it to a coin toss you didn't ask for.
And it is easier to find your way into a home of your own. Buying a place to live in was always there, but it stayed hidden until you already owned one. Now, while you're renting, the game points you to it, so you can buy a home, move in, and be done with rent.
When your home is too small for everyone, you now decide how to handle it instead of just wearing the strain. Have the kids double up in shared rooms, which takes the edge off, or give them the bedrooms and take the couch yourself, knowing the bad sleep will follow you to work. A bigger place, rented or bought, is still the real answer, but you are not stuck while you get there.
Plus a round of fixes. A newborn who inherits the line early no longer arrives with a child of their own, and a few lines that read the same too often were varied. Thank you for playing, and for writing in. A good number of these came straight from your feedback. Please keep it coming!
1.9.1 24 sep
Version 1.8.8 is about the world reacting to who you've become, and a round of the systems around it working the way they should.
The people around you now form an opinion of you, and it has consequences. Give year after year and you become a known benefactor, and one day a board comes asking for your name and your time. Take what isn't yours often enough and the wrong people start to trust you with the next job. Live hard, and the fast crowd claims you as one of their own. Your reputation shows on your own page in plain words, it tells you the moment it shifts, and it fades if you stop feeding it. Free will is untouched. What changes is who comes to your door.
Running for office finally feels like an election. When the vote lands you get a real results night: your share against your opponent's, the margin, and the turnout. And the person who beats you actually takes the seat now and governs from it, instead of vanishing.
Your family carries on without you steering every step. Your grown children pair off and have children of their own, so you can live to become a grandparent. And a child you raised grows into a real career instead of staying a student forever.
Money and business are clearer. A repair or teardown on a company-owned property is paid by the company, not out of your pocket. Your time left in office, and the next election you can run in, are spelled out. And the stocks screen is rebuilt around what matters: what your holdings are worth, what you're up or down, and a tap to trade.
Plus the usual round of fixes. A buyer's agent no longer raises the same conflict every single month. Temptation, if you're spoken for, comes around far less often. And a few repeated lines and rough edges got smoothed out.
1.8.8 4 sep
Version 1.8.5 fixes how money moves through a company you own.
If you formed an LLC and funded it, buying a property or opening a business under the company could tell you there weren't enough funds, even with a full business account. That's fixed. A purchase made under your company now draws from the business account, and it counts what the company holds when it checks whether you can afford it.
We also closed a leak where a rental held by your company earned its rent into your personal account while its costs came out of the business account, so the business account slowly drained even on a property that was making money. Rent and expenses now run through the same account.
And there is a new option for a rental you already own. You can deed it into your LLC, so its income and expenses run through the business from then on. Your home always stays personal.
We also fixed a rare case where a very long pop-up could run off the bottom of the screen and leave you unable to continue. Any pop-up now scrolls, so its button is always within reach.

Version 1.8.4 is about the parts of a life that don't fit on a balance sheet.
The people in your life now respond to who you've become. Live a certain way long enough and it changes who comes to your door. A long pattern of affairs is the kind of thing that eventually catches up with you, and one day someone from your past reaches out. There is a child, and they are yours. What you do with that is up to you. You can bring them into the family in the open, quietly pay to keep it buried, or turn them away, and every answer leaves a mark. The ones you bury have a way of surfacing when your will is read.
A spouse who senses something has started to watch you more closely. The children you raised grow into adults with lives of their own, and how you raised them shows. One who was let down can get into real trouble and come to you for help, and you decide whether to bail them out, hold a hard line, or cut them loose. Marry again later in life, over children from an earlier marriage, and the question of who comes first stops being hypothetical.
It all comes together at the end. When an estate is settled now, there is a reading of the will: who came forward, who fought it, what a surviving spouse took, and whether the family held together or came apart.
This is the start of a larger idea. Your choices shape the kind of person other people treat you as, and that shapes the life you get to live.

Version 1.8.2 brings a proper real estate agent to the game, a real way to cash out a business, and room for a bigger family.
Work with a real estate agent -
You can now hire a buyer's agent from one of two brokerages, each with its own roster of specialists. Tell them what you are after, from a starter condo to a multifamily building, and they surface matches along with off-market listings you would never find on the public board. A strong agent negotiates you a better price and remembers you the next time you buy. Some play it straight. Others will quietly steer you toward a deal that serves them more than it serves you, so it pays to know who you are working with.
Sell the company you built -
After years of running a business, you can finally sell it. Take an outside buyer's offer when one lands on your desk, or put the company on the market yourself. A larger, more profitable operation commands a higher multiple, so the work you put in over the years actually pays out when you exit.
Room for a bigger family -
Two larger homes join the plans you can build, a six-bedroom manor and an eight-bedroom estate, so a big household fin.
Fixes and polish -
Your personal account no longer quietly slips into the red while your business sits on cash. When you come up short, ap before any overdraft interest, and you can switch that off if you would rather keep the two accounts separate. We also fixed an inheritance bug that finances across generations, andsmoothed out a number of smaller rough edges.
Thank you to everyone playing, and especially to those who wrote in. A good deal of this update came straight from your
1.8.2 20 ago
Version 1.8.0 adds a full business layer and a cast of people who act on motives of their own.
• START A BUSINESS. Lease a storefront and open your doors without buying real estate first. Choose the type, the neighborhood, and the size, then build it up while the income ramps over the first year and the rent comes due from day one.
• RUN A REAL COMPANY. Form an LLC and decide how to fund it, from your own savings to a round from friends and family, a coworker who buys in, or an angel investor you go out and network to find. Raise capital as you grow, buy partners back out when you are flush, and divide the whole company among your heirs in your will.
• PEOPLE WITH CHARACTER. The people in your life now have a temperament. A loyal friend or a devoted partner will come through when things are hard, while someone ruthless or unfaithful may act against you first, so a partner can be the one who strays and a rival at work can move against you.
• CLEARER ESTATE PLANNING. Your will now shows the share you actually control, since a surviving spouse keeps their legal portion no matter what you write, and that portion is spelled out when your heir takes over.
• A CLEANER, FASTER APP. New icons, haptics, detail panels that slide up from the bottom, larger controls, and clearer type make the whole game easier to read and quicker to play.
1.8.0 22 jul
This is the biggest update yet (it's also our first), built around what makes a dynasty a dynasty.
THE FAMILY LEGACY
Your reputation now outlives you. Every generation builds or spends the family name, and a strong name gives each heir who follows a real head start in life.
WEALTH, PUT TO WORK
Once you have made your fortune, there is finally something meaningful to do with it. You can give to local causes, endow a family foundation that carries your name for generations, or run for city council or mayor and steer the town yourself.
A PROPER SEND-OFF
When a character dies, an In Memoriam looks back on the life they lived, and you can revisit past generations at their graves any time.
ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
• Dating is now a real courtship, where you meet someone, go on dates, and then decide to make it official.
• Your standing is easier to read on the Me tab, and it grows with you as you build your life.
• The writing across the whole game has had a fresh pass.
• We fixed dozens of issues, including advancing a full year without stalling, affair storylines that play out in the right order, and improved character portraits.
Thank you for playing, and there is plenty more to come.
