LogIT PRO is a novel-digital platform for medical institutions to Monitor, Evaluate and Grade their students (both undergrad & postgrad) & also help them log their clinical & non-clinical activities, advance their learning, improve their skills & clinical competencies, and share their experiences on a continuous basis. It is way beyond the commonly used ‘E-LogBook’.
The platform is an important tool in promoting, practising and delivering Competency Based Medical Education. The LogIT™ system combines a robust mobile application (for the students) and a secure cloud portal (for the faculty and other members of the department facilitating the programmes) to monitor, evaluate and grade medical-students on the basis of clearly measurable parameters, such as Entrustable Professional Attributes (EPA), Peer Evaluation, and Self Evaluation, as they progress through their respective programs.
Over 300 data-points are analysed to grade, select, and automatically assign students to professional work in every possible clinical scenario.
Every activity that the medical student engages in, is proactively tracked and the responses to such activities are graded instantaneously, and finally, using the proprietary Compass Ranking Algorithm™ they are ranked amongst their peers. These benchmarks are highly-customisable and can amended to suit the institution/university’s requirements.
Several statistical tools are provided within the platform for the faculty to analyse the responses, review and provide feedback. These can be used to evaluate the impact of the LogIT™ system on the performance of medical student.
The platform enables both medical student and faculty members to maintain track of professional and academic activity in reliable, secure and easily accessible format. There is also a provision for students and faculty members to export their records and migrate from the LogIT™ PRO to LogIT™ Lite version for free.
The platform has certain novel facilities to store and share proprietary digital information in a secure manner.
