User calibration of each jump using our unique multi-point Calibration System will provide the best analysis:
• Athlete Height → vertical measurements
• Athlete Gender → performance benchmarks
• Board Distance from Camera → primary calibration
• Takeoff Board → position validation
• Takeoff Point → accurate takeoff position tracking
• Pit Edge → official distance measurement, landing analysis
• Landing Zone → for improved technical analysis
• Board-to-Pit Distance → secondary calibration reference
• Camera Height → perspective correction
• Camera Angle → 3D trajectory correction
How it works:
• Tap to place markers on video thumbnail
• Tap twice for Takeoff Board’s draggable Vertical Line Markers
• Drag to adjust - markers are fully draggable
• Visual feedback with icons and labels
• Checkmarks show which markers are set
• Perspective correction: Accounts for camera angle and height
• Dual-reference calibration: Uses both camera distance AND board-to-pit distance, averages them for maximum accuracy
• Help system: Built-in tutorial explaining how to calibrate
