After the upgrade, review the data in your film catalog and gear inventory to make sure everything carried over. You may need to make adjustments to existing gear entries (particularly lenses) to validate that any auto-filled assumptions about your gear (such as aperture range) have been populated correctly. The functions which uplift your existing data to the new data model format aren't perfect, but they're pretty close.

- Added a fix when adjusting aperture values for non-US keyboards. (MetaLog will automatically convert comma separators to decimal points.) - Fixed a bug where the automatic maximum aperture value detection was not working when editing existing lenses.

I'm pleased to finally announce the release of MetaLog 2.0! With this release comes some significant enhancements since v1 that I think most users will appreciate and enjoy. It's been a long road, getting from there to here. MetaLog started out as a simple app I developed for myself to fill a gap in my own film photography workflow, so it makes me very happy to have found that other people find it useful as well. Along with my own ideas and plans for the app, I have also taken much of the feedback that has been sent - both bug fixes and suggestions - and incorporated them into v2. Here's some of what's new: - Enhanced large screen support! For users of iPads in particular, you will find that MetaLog now has a dedicated "split screen" interface for larger screens, with a UI that makes a lot more sense for those screen sizes. - "Reference Photos" can now be added for each individual frame. This means you can use your device's camera to take a photo of the same scene you've photographed with your dedicated camera and save that photo to the frame to supplement your notes, making it easier to reference the specific recorded film frame. When exporting a roll, MetaLog will bundle all of your reference photos along with the CSV containing your frame data. - You can now specify a "Maximum Aperture" for your lenses. If specified, MetaLog will no longer display aperture values that are beyond the capabilities of that specific lens. - Pre-filled frame values can now be cleared rather than simply changed. (Why I didn't initially include this is beyond me, but it's fixed now!) - Miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements. - A new app icon! It was time for a change. It keeps most of the same feel as the original, while more accurately reflecting the app itself.
