Microstrip RF Calculator is an offline engineering toolkit for PCB, RF, and microwave transmission-line work. Build quick first-pass numbers for microstrip and stripline geometry, impedance, phase, propagation delay, fringing effects, bends, gap coupling, current crowding, and attenuation directly on iPhone and iPad.
Designed for engineers who need useful calculations at the bench, in the lab, during layout review, or away from a network connection. Enter stackup and trace values such as frequency, dielectric constant, substrate height, trace width, copper thickness, length, loss tangent, conductivity, roughness, phase budget, and layout limits. Results are calculated locally and can be copied or shared as a clean report.
Geometry tools:
- Microstrip Line Calculator: back-solve trace width and physical length from target impedance and electrical length.
- Microstrip Impedance Solver: calculate characteristic impedance, effective dielectric constant, W/H ratio, guided wavelength, delay, and physical length.
- Stripline/Microstrip Delay & Velocity Calculator: compare propagation velocity, delay per mm, total delay, guided wavelength, and electrical phase for microstrip or stripline assumptions.
