Murmur is the voice recorder that disappears. One tap to capture a thought and it transcribes itself on your device — no account, no subscription, no cloud required.
Built for people who think out loud — journalists, students, founders, researchers, and anyone who'd rather talk than type — Murmur keeps capture frictionless and your words private.
ONE-TAP CAPTURE
• A giant, breathing record button. Tap once to start, tap to stop.
• Pause and resume without losing your place.
• Keep recording in the background, even with the screen locked.
ON-DEVICE TRANSCRIPTION
• Accurate transcripts generated right on your iPhone, in 30+ languages.
• Transcription starts automatically the moment you stop recording.
• Your audio never has to leave your device.
A LIBRARY THAT MAKES SENSE
• Recordings grouped by date with transcript snippets.
• Full-text search across every transcript and title.
• Play back with a scrubbable waveform, rename, edit the transcript, and share audio or text.
PRIVACY FIRST
• Works fully offline. Everything stays on your iPhone.
• No ads. No tracking. No data selling.
• Microphone and speech access are used only to record and transcribe your own notes.
Murmur is a one-time purchase. Every feature is included — no subscriptions, ever.
Murmur. Say it once. Keep it forever.
