Bug fixes and improvements.

Settings now has an Upgrade to Pro option and a Restore Purchase button, so you no longer have to find a locked feature to buy or restore Pro. The port scan page now says up front that it's a Pro feature, and what a scan could tell you about that device.

The app name no longer gets cut off at the top of the device list. Rate NetScanPro, Send Feedback and More Apps have moved into Settings, where they are easier to find.

App Lock now covers everything, including sheets and alerts, and turning it off requires authentication. Cancelling Face ID no longer re-prompts immediately. Reports no longer print "Identified by" twice, and the summary's identification counts now say what they actually measure. Removing devices outside a network's range no longer offers devices that a scan of that network has found.

The app now tells you when a scan was saved to a network it wasn't run on, and the network chip shows when scanning is pinned to one network. Two new ways to clean up a device list: remove devices not seen since a date, or remove devices whose addresses this network doesn't cover.

Merging duplicate entries no longer discards a name you gave a device. The scanning indicator now keeps running for the whole scan, and the app icon appears on the lock screen.

Tap a security finding and the explanation is right there — what the port does and why it matters, without digging into each device.

NetScanPro now runs natively on iPad. Device details now show a MAC address where one can be determined, with the manufacturer. Device icons no longer change between scans. A speaker that also supports HomeKit now shows as a speaker. The network security summary opens faster, and progress indicators are visible in both light and dark appearance.

Fixed the upgrade screen getting stuck when the App Store couldn't be reached, and added a way to retry.

PDF reports now open with a summary: how many devices answered the scan, how many were identified, port scan coverage, and any security findings. Fixed a case where a device scanned twice in quick succession could list the same port twice in the report, once open and once closed. Fixed the report header repeating the word "Network".

Fixed a rare crash that could occur while scanning a network.

Devices that haven't answered recent scans are now marked in the list, so you can tell them apart from the ones currently responding. App Lock can be turned off in Settings if you'd rather open the app without Face ID. Discovery is more reliable: devices that don't respond to a ping are found more often, and scans now allow more time for devices that announce themselves intermittently. Fixed a case where a device with no usable address would offer a port scan that couldn't reach it.

Better identification for printers, media players, and smart-home devices — NetScanPro now sees service announcements it was previously being blocked from reading. Fixed a bug where one device could show up as two entries in your list, and another where a device's name could change between scans. Existing duplicates are merged automatically the next time you scan.

Tap through to a device in Safari straight from NetScanPro — useful when a device won't tell you its name and the only way to identify it is to open whatever it's serving. After scanning your network, you'll now see every device with a web port open in one place, with one tap to each.

Every port NetScanPro scans now has a plain-language explanation, and the ones that carry real risk come with a security note that tells you what to do about it. You can also send feedback straight from the info screen now — the fastest way to tell us what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like to see added.

Your custom device names now stay with the right device. Previously, when your router reassigned an address, a name could end up on different hardware. When a device you've named might have moved, NetScanPro now asks instead of guessing — and you can undo the answer if you get it wrong. Better names for devices discovered over UPnP, and improved identification for printers, media players, and smart home gear.

NetScanPro now identifies what's on your network. Devices show real names, types, and manufacturers instead of raw IP addresses, with an honest confidence indicator so you can tell a confirmed identification from a best guess. The device you're scanning from identifies itself, and many more device types are recognized automatically. Pro users get even sharper identification when port-scanning a device.

Pro features are now clearly labeled throughout the app, so you always know what's included before you tap. The upgrade screen now shows you exactly what you're unlocking based on the feature you came from. Free scans still reset daily, and Pro remains a one-time purchase.
