Links near the bottom of a long note now open when you tap them. They were dropping you into the note instead, which was easy to read as the link being broken. Selecting text no longer flips you to the next slot. Dragging to select ran past the edge and took the swipe with it.

Typing an arrow now draws one. A hyphen followed by a greater-than sign becomes a single arrow character, and the leftward and double-arrow forms work the same way. It is a character like any other, so it copies out intact, and backspace right afterwards puts the plain characters back.

noglow no longer asks which notes to keep every time you open it. And the spare copies sync keeps in archive now stay out of your way, behind "show backups".

Tap an archived note to read it. Previously a tap restored it right away, which swapped out whatever was in the slot before you could see what the note said. Archived notes now sort newest first, so the note you just peeled is at the top. You can also delete an archived note for good, or copy it without restoring it. Deleting syncs to your other devices, and you get five seconds to undo.

Home screen widgets. Pin a slot to your home screen and keep that note in view: a list you keep checking, a few lines you want in front of you. Tap the widget to open that slot. On iPhone there's also a one-line version for the lock screen.
