The NutriSolutions® application is designed to capture the field level details for a tissue sample collected out in the field and then transmit that data electronically to the lab where it will be paired up with the physical sample once it arrives. The app requires the user to scan the barcode on a tissue sample bag and fill out the relevant details about the location and type of sample that will be sent in.
The app allows users to either use current location within a field to tag a sample to or to drop a pin within the field boundary once cellular service is available again.
It also allows for a batch sampling process that reduces the amount of data entry when taking multiple samples within the same field.
