SenseVoice engine. A third recognition engine — Alibaba FunASR's SenseVoice-Small — is now available in Settings. Recommended for Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean; decodes an utterance in a fraction of a second. Download it once (~227 MB) and everything runs on this iPhone. Resumable downloads. Model downloads (both Whisper and SenseVoice) now resume after an interruption instead of restarting, with parallel connections and SHA-256 verification. The app now opens on the tab you last used, and nearby Mac discovery only starts when you switch to Talk.

Optional Whisper engine. In Settings → Recognition Engine you can now choose Whisper instead of Apple's engine, download one of three open-source models (Base 150 MB, Small 216 MB, or the recommended Large v3 Turbo 626 MB) and run it entirely on this iPhone. One model covers every language the app offers (Cantonese with Large v3 Turbo), and nothing is bundled — the download happens only when you ask, with the size and MIT license shown first. Models can be deleted at any time. Apple's on-device engine remains the default and needs no download.

More recognition languages. Cantonese (Hong Kong), Mandarin (China), Japanese and Korean join Taiwanese Mandarin and English. Each downloads its on-device model the first time you choose it, and the language is now picked from a menu in Settings instead of a crowded row.

Swipe between sessions. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the terminal to move to the previous or next session; the order wraps around at the ends like a TV remote. A brief overlay names the connection and session (and its position, e.g. 2 / 5), and the keyboard stays exactly as you left it. Session colours. Colour tags set on your Mac now travel with shared connections and appear in the session list and the switch overlay. Import your connections again from OpenAB Connect 1.6.1 to pick them up. Settings. Auto-Enter (now on by default — turn it off in Settings if you prefer to press Enter yourself), microphone mode (hold to talk, or tap to start and stop) and language now live in Settings behind the gear button; Demo mode and the diagnostic log moved under Advanced. Fixes. The Talk button no longer goes dead while a session is open in the Sessions tab, and a pairing that fails to connect now says so instead of waiting on "Confirm on your Mac".

Maintenance update: refreshed App Store screenshots and minor housekeeping. No functional changes.

New Settings screen (tap the gear): • Choose your language: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, or Korean. • Press Enter after inserting — automatically send a newline after dictated or typed text (on by default). • Microphone mode — hold to talk, or tap once to start and again to stop. Also: fixed terminal sessions rendering at the wrong width on first open, and removed stray color-query characters when attaching some sessions.

• Importing connections from your Mac now mirrors the Mac exactly — connections you removed there no longer linger here. • Fixed stray characters that could appear when attaching to a session that another device had already opened.
