Palmtone turns your hands into instruments — no touchscreen, no controller, just your front camera watching you play. Hold up your phone and move your hand through the air. Position controls pitch, openness shapes the tone, wrist tilt and pinch drive filters and effects — all in real time, entirely on-device. TWO HANDS, TWO INSTRUMENTS Each hand is a fully independent voice with its own sound, scale, and effects chain. Play a bassline with one hand and a lead with the other, or let a Maj7/Min7 chord on one hand automatically pull the other into a matching Lydian or Dorian scale. 16 INSTRUMENTS From analog-style subtractive and FM synths to sampled violin, cello, piano, trumpet, and harp, plus plucked strings, supersaws, drums, and jazz chord voices. PATCHES Save your favorite two-hand setups and recall them instantly. Comes with a library of ready-to-play factory patches. RECORD YOUR PERFORMANCE Capture audio, or audio + video of yourself playing, and share it straight from the app. PLAY WITH YOUR OTHER GEAR Broadcast your gestures as MIDI to any app or hardware, or load Palmtone as an Audio Unit (AUv3) instrument inside your favorite host. Works completely offline. No account, no ads, no data collection — your camera never leaves your device.
