This update brings two powerful new tools to Perfusion Mind: Care Plan and Exam Review.
New: Care Plan
Quickly build a patient-specific perfusion care plan in one place.
Enter key patient and case details:
• Sex
• Age
• Height & weight
• Prime volume
• Anesthesia volume
• Hematocrit
• Procedure type
• Patient comorbidities
Perfusion Mind’s AI Perfusion Assistant then generates an entire page of case-specific support, including:
• Blood flow rates at different cardiac indices
• Post-dilutional hematocrit
• Heparin dose calculations
• Cannula size suggestions
• Additional patient-specific insights to help you prepare for the case
The Care Plan feature is designed to be very easy to use and is a fast way to perform multiple calculations all at once.

We’ve added a dedicated Exam Review section for students preparing for the ABCP Basic Science and Clinical Applications exam.

o Each scenario includes multiple-choice questions and answers
o New scenarios and questions are added weekly
If you’re unsure why an answer is right or wrong, you can switch directly to the AI Perfusion Assistant inside the app and ask about that specific question and its answer choices to do a deeper dive on the topic.
