Pingly is a small, fast network tool for people who want to know what their connection is actually doing. Type in a host or IP, watch the ICMP replies come back in real time, and keep a running score on your Internet quality.
If you chase latency for work, hunt down lag before a match, or just have a Wi-Fi connection you don't trust, Pingly gives you the real numbers as they happen.
PING ANY HOST
• Real ICMP echo requests, the same kind the ping command sends
• A live reply stream with sequence number, packet size and round-trip time
• Running stats: sent, received, lost, loss %, min, avg, max and jitter
• Quick-pick hosts, and switching targets starts a fresh session
• Color-coded latency, so a slow reply is easy to spot
INTERNET QUALITY MONITOR
• A running 0-100 connection score with a letter grade from A+ to F
• A live breakdown of latency, jitter, packet loss and stability
• A scrolling signal graph and a one-line, plain-English read on how things look
• Pause, resume, or switch targets whenever you want

• A tone for every reply, pitched by round-trip time - fast replies ring high, slow ones drop low
• A healthy connection sounds like a steady, high chime, so a latency spike is a note you can hear fall
• Timeouts and dropped packets get their own distinct downward thud
• A live tone-bar strip that scrolls along with the stream
• Four voices to choose from sine, triangle, square or pluck
• Leave it running with the screen off; it respects the mute switch
SESSION HISTORY
• Every ping run is saved automatically
