Polipod is a free-to-play mobile puzzle game that demands spatial and algorithmic reasoning, for both casual and hardcore gamers. In the game, you inhabit a cube, called a Polipod, and your goal is to solve puzzles by rolling the cube into a hole in an isometric 3D environment. Along the way, the player Polipod encounters passive Polipods, called Dormipods. The player Polipod can attach itself to one or multiple Dormipods by rolling up next to it. This allows you as the player to become different shapes and sizes, which can dramatically change your movement and ability to progress through the levels.
The big picture objective of the game is essentially to complete as many worlds as possible and compete for high scores. Each world consists of up to 10 levels. Completing a world grants you stars which can be used to unlock more worlds. You can choose to play worlds of varying difficulty and be rewarded accordingly. The player can also choose to play community created worlds and rate those worlds. In community created worlds, the completion rewards will be based on world rating rather than difficulty.
In addition to using the stars (you earn by completing worlds) to unlock new worlds, the stars can be used to build a "home base". You can then choose to display your castle Oh so proudly in the background of the worlds you create yourself.
One of the many things that makes Polipod special is the player's ability to create custom worlds and levels in an easy-to-use level creator. Apart from having complete freedom in building the actual playable area, the player can pick between different environments.
The game is also committed to making the world a better place! The game includes the "Biopod" Polipod skin for which any revenue that is generated from it will go directly and completely toward a WFF.
