How to Play:
In "The Pretender," each player is either a "Local" or "The Pretender." All "Locals" receive a keyword, such as "jungle," "soccer," or "coffee shop," while "The Pretender" has no idea what the keyword is. The challenge? The "Locals" must subtly discuss the keyword without revealing it outright, while "The Pretender" tries to blend in, pretending to know the keyword.
Throughout the game, "Locals" will carefully observe each other, looking for any signs of confusion or vague answers. The goal for the "Locals" is to identify "The Pretender" without giving away the keyword. If the "Locals" successfully identify the Pretender, they win. If the Pretender remains undetected and convinces everyone that they know the keyword, then the Pretender wins!
