Setup tips by email now stop as soon as your keyboard is on with Full Access, so you only hear from us while it helps. Small fixes under the hood. Still free for 7 days, no card needed.

Better rewrites for longer texts: Protexter now keeps every point and detail when you fix a longer message, instead of compressing it down. The Ask AI panel in the keyboard now shows more of each answer. We now ask for your name and email address during setup so we can send you keyboard tips and new feature updates. Still free for 7 days, no card needed.

Clearer keyboard setup: when Full Access is off, the keyboard now shows a bold, unmissable message telling you exactly where to turn it on. Still free for 7 days, no card needed.

Better keyboard diagnostics: the app now checks the keyboard connection on every launch so setup issues are visible right away. Still free for 7 days, no card needed.

Translate into 20 languages. Open Options, pick Languages, tap a language, and hold one to pin it to the top. A faster first fix: the try step opens with a sample ready, so one tap shows the rewrite. Keyboard setup now sits on the home screen until your keyboard is ready. Still free for 7 days, no card needed.

Try Protexter free for seven days. No card needed. Open the app, type a draft, and tap Fix. The first time you use AI, your free week starts. You get seven days and a hundred actions to see how Protexter rewrites, fixes grammar, changes tone, and applies skills in every app through the keyboard. When the week ends, subscribe to keep going. Nothing is charged until you choose to. Also new: better crash reporting and usage tracking so we can fix problems faster.

Skills: choose the job, not just the tone. Pick a skill in Options and Protexter shapes your text for that job, on the home screen and in the keyboard, in every app. Writing: sound human instead of AI, make it clear and simple, write a professional email, cold outreach a stranger will answer, a follow-up that is not just checking in, a kind no, a persuasive ask, or a social post with a real first line. Software: turn a rough ask into a prompt an AI can execute, write a conventional commit with the why, a pull request description with what, why, how and testing, a bug report with expected, actual and steps, a code review comment that is specific and kind, documentation in plain technical English, a three line status update, or release notes that lead with breaking changes. Skills work alongside the voice and tone you already chose. Nothing changes on the home screen until you pick one.

Try it before you subscribe. On first launch, type any message and tap Fix to see Protexter rewrite it, then keep every fix, rewrite and reply in every app with Pro. A simpler home screen: type or paste, pick a tone, tap Fix. Everything else lives under Options. Keyboard: the Fix chip corrects your whole draft in one tap, with Undo. Fix and Shorter also work without Full Access. Pro: your own before and after on the Pro screen, the annual plan pre-selected with the savings shown, and the free trial offered only when the App Store confirms you are eligible. After subscribing you go straight to keyboard setup with your fixed text ready. Optional reminders: one to finish adding the keyboard, and one before your free week ends. You can also rate Protexter after it has fixed a couple of texts.

Performance improvements and better product insights so we can keep making replies faster and more accurate. Includes groundwork for Apple Search Ads attribution.

The keyboard now walks you through setup in plain language: exactly where to allow Full Access and how to connect it to the app, so AI writing works on the first try.

Fixes a startup issue that prevented subscription plans from loading and kept the keyboard from connecting on new installs. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual now load with App Store pricing, and the keyboard connects after opening the app once. New: choose a reply language. Auto matches the language of the conversation, or pick one of ten languages to reply in. The Pro screen now retries on its own if the App Store is briefly unreachable.

Fixes a bug where the subscription plans could fail to load and leave the screen with no way to recover. Plans now retry automatically, and a Try again control is always available. The first-run permission screen now names exactly who receives your text when you turn on AI writing: Vercel, OpenRouter, and the model provider that writes the response. Third-party AI processing stays off until you turn it on. Also includes the full-screen review step before any suggestion can replace your text, one-tap transforms, the tone warning, and Continue.
