Turn reading time into play time! Read2Play is the fun, simple way for kids to earn screen time by reading books.
Tap "Read" to start earning. Tap "Play" to spend it. Parents set the conversion rate — 1 minute of reading can equal 1, 2, or 3 minutes of gaming. It's that simple.
But here's where it gets exciting: as kids read, they unlock collectible creature cards. Each with AI-generated artwork, special powers, and battle stats. It's like building a mini trading card collection, powered by reading. Kids can battle their siblings' creatures quickly once a day, complete books to earn exclusive Book Rare cards, and build reading streaks to unlock streak-only creatures.
For parents, Read2Play is very simple to use and track time. Set a 4-digit PIN to protect settings. Customize conversion rates per kid. Add multiple children to one household. View reading and gaming statistics, adjust time banks manually by pressing longer on a button, or delete all data anytime. You're always in control.
Read2Play collects zero data: I built it as a parent for my own kids, and it was tested with them. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Everything stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account, we never see it. Privacy-first and COPPA-compliant by design..
