Ready Steuben is a mobile application for SMART Phones available to individuals interested in gaining emergency information for Steuben County, NY. With this application, you can gain access to important information about emergency situations, submit damage reports, get up to date weather information, manage emergency contacts, and keep track of your emergency kit. The application provides links to updated power outage information, traffic information, shelter locations, evacuation routes and functional needs registry. To assist residents and those who work or travel in Steuben County, NY through technology, the app can aid citizens in preparedness by sharing tips and preparedness/preventions measures. When you use this app it will better prepare you and help the County gain better situational awareness of what is going on in the County during a disaster or emergency. This application is not meant to be used to report emergency situations. If you experience a true emergency please dial or text 911.
