Rootedtime keeps your garden's story in one place: every plant's photos, measurements, care and harvests, season after season. THE PLANT TIMELINE • Photograph a plant, or add a photo from your library, and it lands on that plant's own timeline • Log height and spread, and Rootedtime draws the plant to scale on a measuring rule, with its growth rate between visits • Stages, first flower and first fruit are picked up from what you log • Photos stay on the device that took them. Rootedtime never uploads a picture PLAN THE SEASON • Tell it your last spring frost and first autumn frost, and it works out sow-by dates for each crop, with the arithmetic shown • A succession ladder for crops you re-sow, ending at the last date that still beats the frost • A rotation check warns you when a bed grew the same crop family in the last three years HARVEST AND PANTRY • Log every picking by weight or count, and see each plant's season total against published yield ranges • Plan what to preserve, and keep a pantry of jars, bags and dried goods with best-by dates from published food-storage guidance, re-dated if you change where you store them • An optional reminder two weeks before a batch leaves its best-quality window YOUR SEASON • A weekly list of what needs a look: plants you haven't checked, crops due, sow-by dates coming up • A care log and check-in streak • A season report comparing this year with last, and issues that keep coming back in the same bed ROOTEDTIME PRO (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION) The free plan tracks three plants, with the photo timeline, the drawn portrait, the harvest log and the sowing dates. Pro adds: • Unlimited plants and your whole timeline (the free plan shows the last 60 days) • Compare any two dates of a plant on one measured rule • The season report, this year against last • Preservation planning, the pantry and best-by dates • Rotation warnings, the succession ladder, and a preservation plan drafted from your own harvest Pro is available monthly or yearly, with a free trial for eligible Apple IDs. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. HOW THE AI IS USED When you ask for a preservation plan, the crop and the amounts you picked are sent to an AI model, which writes a short plan and a few recipe ideas. It never sees a photo, and it never gives processing times or best-by dates: those come from published, tested guidance. YOUR DATA Your notes, measurements, harvests and pantry are stored in your own account, and you can delete the account and everything in it from inside the app. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
