• Breaking news alerts are back. A bug since 1.0.3 stopped them silently whenever several stories arrived from one category. • Each story is now its own notification. Prefer one per category? Turn on "Group by category" in Settings → Notifications. • Settings → Notifications has a new "Check for breaking news now" and shows when the last check ran and what it found. • Alerts also arrive while the app is open: the check now runs every 15 minutes in the foreground. • Stories announced recently are no longer held back for weeks; the "already announced" list expires after 36 hours.

• Your settings now follow you: reading, playback, voice, Radio, Briefing schedule and content-language choices sync across your iPhone, iPad and Mac through iCloud, and changes arrive within seconds. • "Not interested", Quick Saves, played episodes and your Continue listening spot sync too. • iPad: Summary from the long-press menu opens the summary in the reading pane, Home always returns to a clean Home, and Share → Safe & Informed works while the app is open.

• Pictures for every story: when a feed ships no image, the article's own picture is used. • Podcasts: episode and show artwork now come from the feed's cover, and large back catalogues load again. • Source logos now come from the publisher's site, so BBC, NPR, CNN, Sky News and others finally show their logo. • Reporting a directory source now asks why and takes an optional note. • Article snippets no longer end in "The post … appeared first on …".

• Search: ask AI about your results (Pro), with quick filters for last 24 hours, category and source. • Breaking-news alerts: one per story even when several feeds carry it, grouped by category, with Listen and Queue. • Group similar stories is now on by default, with tighter matching so unrelated headlines stay apart. • Shared category links open and import directly. • Reliability fixes for StoreKit and background refresh.

• Radio → Feed: the cards follow the radio and the word being read lights up as you listen (Pro, natural voice). • Invite a friend: share your code; when a friend subscribes you get 50 credits for a monthly plan or 250 for a yearly plan. • Share a category or a group as a link; subcategories now look like categories, with rename, share and delete. • Group similar stories: one row per story in category lists, the other sources a tap away (Settings → Reading). • Fixes: feeds with HTML entities now load fully; Briefing fine-tuning and preferences sync over iCloud.
