A fresh new SameShot. Take a before, line up the after with the ghost, slide to see how far you have come. Same trick, nicer to look at. The camera works like the one you already know, the app opens faster, and your comparisons are right where you left them.

FIXED • Camera controls no longer hide under the Dynamic Island, including after importing from your library • Video pairs start together and stay together, with no stall at the loop point or drift between takes • Importing a video from your library works reliably again • Lower memory use when your gallery holds lots of video pairs Thanks for shooting with SameShot. Every rating and every message shapes what comes next.

The consistency update: everything you need to nail the same shot twice, now in photo and video. • Video reshoots: line up against a reference clip, watch it play over your live camera as you record, and save both takes • Outline ghost: align against crisp edge-lines instead of a translucent overlay for busy or bright scenes • Start from your library: pick an existing photo or video and shoot the matching new version • Landscape support: the before shot sets the orientation, and SameShot guides you to match it • Zoom & lens control: 0.5x/1x/2x lenses with pinch-to-zoom, and the after shot restores the before's exact zoom and camera • Flash, tap-to-focus, and AE/AF lock for consistent lighting • Self-timer (3s/10s) for hands-free and solo shots • See how far you've come with "21 days apart" on every finished pair • Share a labeled before/after composite, or save video pairs to Photos • Adjustable ghost overlay opacity with a visible slider
