SayCopy turns short voice recordings into editable text and helps you translate phrases. Use Transcribe to capture a thought, message, or note. On the Translate tab, type, paste, or speak a phrase, then copy or share the result.

HOW MODEL CHOICES WORK
Your transcription model converts speech into text when you choose a recording language. Auto-detect uses a compatible transcription engine. Your text-processing model handles translation and optional Light cleanup. SayCopy shows the active models in Settings.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
SayCopy does not require a SayCopy account. Your settings and history stay on your device. Your OpenRouter API key is stored in secure iOS storage. Audio and text are sent only when you request processing, with zero-data-retention routing required.
BRING YOUR OWN OPENROUTER KEY
SayCopy is free to download. To process audio or text, provide your own OpenRouter API key. OpenRouter and selected model providers may charge for usage. An internet connection is required for transcription and translation.

This update gives your current translation more space. Saved translations now open in a bottom sheet, and a new Paste button brings text from other apps into Translate. The Record tab is now called Transcribe to make its purpose clearer. Your selected recording language, including Auto-detect, remains saved across screen changes and relaunches.
