Ask Scrolio anything. Tap "What are you curious about?" on Home and ask a question. You get a straight answer, plus a collection to follow if you want to go deeper. Your chats are saved, so you can come back to them. Start a course right away. Follow a collection and its first lesson shows up at the top of Home, ready to read. The courses you follow now lead your Home. A Learn tab built around your courses. The courses you started come first, with your next lesson up front. After those come our featured picks and the collections most people follow. An easier start. New readers begin by asking about what they love, and follow their first collections right there.

Our biggest update yet: a new Home, courses, and more to read for free. • A new Home. Facts, short stories, long reads and lessons in one feed, from the collections you follow and new ones to try. Read short stories right in the feed with Read more. • Courses. Follow a collection and learn it one lesson at a time, in order. Pick up where you left off, or skip to the next lesson. • Start with the Foundations. New to something? Get the basics in about 5 minutes before your first lesson. • The Learn tab. Your courses and new ones to start, all in one place. • Collections, reorganized. Each one now has three tabs: Course, Stories and Facts. • More for free. Facts, short stories and long reads no longer count toward your daily limit. Only lessons do. • Faster pictures that use less data.

Jump straight in. Setup is shorter now, with no account and no trial screen in the way. Pick what you love and start reading. Scroll as much as you like. Free readers get 3 stories a day, and only the ones you open count. Covers you scroll past are free. Easier to find your way. A quick guide on your first story shows how it works: swipe right to read it, swipe up for the next one. Fewer nudges. If you said no to notifications, we won't keep asking. Plus fixes for menu buttons on iOS 26.

A fresh start. Pick the topics you love, one card at a time, and Scrolio builds your feed around them. Bigger stories. New readers get full features you swipe through, written and designed like a great magazine, with profiles, investigations, maps and charts. Try Pro free for 3 days. Unlimited stories and every collection. Cancel anytime. Plus a new look for Pro and the daily limit, and lots of small fixes.

New: a heads-up screen when an important update is ready, so you never miss out on the newest features and improvements.

Deep Mode is here. Every story now has a longer read waiting underneath it. Tap Deep Mode at the bottom of any story to get the names, the dates and the numbers behind what you just saw. Clear headings, a list where the facts are a list, and one important idea to take with you. The bottom row of every story is cleaner. Deep Mode sits in the middle, with the heart, share and play on the right. Tell us what you think. Deep Mode ends with a quick way to send us your thoughts, and we read every one.

Fixed rendering story bugs for iOS 26

Scrolio Pro is here. Read as much as you want, and open every collection to go deeper on anything that catches your interest. Reading free works the way it always has. You get 5 new stories a day, and your feed fills back up at midnight.

Next Up Every story now ends with a Next Up slide. It shows the next lesson in that collection and a few related stories, so you never have to hunt for what comes next. One tap and you keep going. Tell us what you think You can now send feedback straight from the feed or from your account screen. Every message is read by the founder, and it decides what we build next. Plus small fixes and polish.

Quizzes, rebuilt. A few days after you read a story, a quiz shows up in your feed to check what stuck. Two kinds now: one multiple choice question, or three true or false statements you swipe through one at a time. The card is cleaner and faster to get through, and every quiz you finish earns points. Not into a quiz? Tap "Don't quiz me on this" and it is gone for good. There is an Undo if you change your mind. One more thing. If you have been reading with us for a while, we will ask you for a rating. We are a small team, and it helps more than you would think.

Collections are here. Every subject you read about now has a home. Open the new Collections tab to see them all in one place, with the ones you favorite kept at the top. Tap a collection to see everything in it: what you have already read, what comes next, and a button to pick up where you left off. Reach the end of a collection and we start writing more about it right away. Come back tomorrow for the next batch. Not sure where to start? Recommended suggests collections built around the interests you picked. Search covers everything you have collected, so an old story is always a few letters away.

You can vote for what stories you want to see in the future. You can skip a quiz forever.
