Added required fields for uploads to keep content organized and searchable, improved video playback performance, and fixed minor bugs for a smoother ShotCentral experience.

ShotCentral 1.1.5 delivers a smoother, smarter experience with an improved viewing algorithm for more personalized feeds, an updated search page for faster discovery, and all-new interactive menus for easier navigation. The upload section now lets you fully customize species under “Other,” giving you more flexibility when sharing your content. We’ve also made key feed and audio fixes to ensure playback is seamless and immersive throughout the app.

We’ve improved video playback for a smoother, experience — faster loading, no sound overlap, and seamless transitions between videos. Audio now stops and resumes cleanly when switching pages or minimizing the app. Behind the scenes, admins also gain new tools for tracking user activity and improving platform reliability.

In this update we’ve made several improvements across the app: the video thumbnails were removed from the Profile section for a cleaner look, and we fixed an audio/video issue where playback could pause or mute when tapping the expanded info button or other controls. The Share option now lets you share the full ShotCentral app (instead of the TestFlight link). We also added a new “Most Hunted” category to Interactive Search, and adjusted the rankings by changing Top 20 to Top 15 for a sharper focus on trending content.

This build gives you an early look at our new hunting-focused short-form video platform, designed to deliver fast, engaging clips and an easy way to share your own hunts. We’ve added an improved search experience with curated species chips (Deer, Elk, Bear, etc.), quick suggestions, and sections for Most Popular and Farthest Shot videos so you can discover trending and record-breaking content. The video player has been tuned to eliminate double-audio and restart flashes for smoother playback. As this is a beta, you may encounter bugs or performance hiccups—please share feedback directly
