Your connection results are now easier to understand and share. - Clearer explanations throughout the app, with everyday language alongside detailed measurements. - See how much response times increase while downloading or uploading, helping explain why a fast connection can still feel slow when it is busy. - Explore response-time charts, speed variation, and clearer explanations when there is not enough data to draw a conclusion. - Copy or share a complete report that starts with an easy-to-read summary, followed by all recorded measurements and connection checks. Ready for troubleshooting or deeper analysis with an AI assistant. - Better explanations of data usage, test limits, and what to try next.

We’ve refined the cassette design with a clearer blue-gray body, a darker reel window, and improved shading. The familiar cassette now has better contrast and depth while keeping the look and animation you know.

SpeedQX has a new look and a rebuilt speed-testing engine. - A redesigned cassette-inspired interface with live feedback throughout your test. - Quick tests for everyday checks and Deep tests for a more detailed comparison. - Results focused on sustained download and upload speeds, with clearer explanations of each measurement. - More control over test data usage and optional M-Lab measurements, with explicit consent before sharing. - Stop a test and keep valid measurements collected so far. - Improved layouts for smaller screens and smoother test controls.

Improved testing accuracy across providers and refined interface interactions.

SpeedQX v2.0.0 — Technician-Grade Accuracy Overhaul What's New: SMARTER MEASUREMENTS • Dedicated latency engine runs 100 pings before your speed test even starts — with percentile breakdown (P50, P95, P99) so you see your typical ping AND your worst-case spikes • Industry-standard RFC 3550 jitter — the same algorithm used by Zoom, FaceTime, and VoIP systems • Bandwidth accuracy pipeline eliminates TCP warm-up noise and statistical outliers for numbers that reflect what you actually experience NEW DIAGNOSTICS • Bufferbloat detection — grades your router A through F by measuring how much your latency spikes under load (the #1 hidden cause of "fast but laggy" connections) • Connection stability — shows whether your speed is rock-steady or swinging wildly • Provider divergence — when Cloudflare and NDT7 disagree, we flag it — could indicate ISP throttling • AIM quality scores — streaming, gaming, and video call readiness ratings BETTER RESULTS • Tap any metric card for a plain-English explanation of what it means and how your result compares • DNS diagnostics now test 12 major domains with detailed timing breakdown — results expand automatically when your test finishes • Progress bars track actual data transferred, not just chunk count • "How It Works" article explains the full methodology — tap the ? icon or the server name at the top DESIGN • New Guton Sans Serif typeface • Ping and jitter now get their own full-width rows with tappable detail cards • Accuracy metrics displayed as a card grid for easy reading on any screen size • iPad layout optimized — UI scales to fill larger displays instead of staying phone-sized • Refined "Test Complete" stamp with improved transparency
