Speedy now places the start with the accelerometer — on some runs that is half a second. SpeedyBoard runs were already this precise and have not changed. • A pull ends when you slow down, so a whole drive is no longer one result. • 0-60, 0-130, 1/8 and 1/4 mile only count within 30 seconds of the launch. • A GPS dropout ends the run instead of guessing across it. Rebuilt timing engine Acceleration timing has been rewritten from the ground up. Times are now taken from the GPS receiver's own fix timestamps and interpolated between readings, instead of being sampled on a fixed interval. The result is dramatically more accurate and repeatable — previous versions could be off by up to a second in either direction.
