A hearts bar shows exactly where your pet stands — thriving, content, tired, sick, or critical. FORGIVING BY DESIGN One bad day won't break anything. A missed day costs a heart, but tomorrow's walk earns half a heart back. Your pet only reaches the end of their story after several skipped days in a row — plenty of room to recover from a rough week, a busy trip, or a sick day. Stepple tracks a per-pet streak and a global lifetime streak across every pet you raise, so even if one ends, your legacy carries on.
